The intentions are to document some things about the Fusion Electonics in a Blog format. As many know, Fusion Electronics started out a Eagle PCB and was bought by Autodesk and integrated into the Fusion 360 product. At the time I was using Solidworks and Altium at a startup and then I discovered Fusion360 with their hobby license and the purchase of an Ulitmaker 3 printer.
Don't get me wrong, I liked solidworks, however it's too expensive for hobbiest. I was working with solidworks on their first integration with Altium, and they charged me $1500 for broken software that realy didn't work and was required to use the solidworks workflow.
Then Fusion360 bought eagle and integrated it into Fusion 360 and that part of fusion is now referred to as Fusion Electronics.
When my startup died and I started contracting out, I started using Fusion 360 as I could turn my professional account on or off as needed, and Eagle was pretty well known electronics cad tool. And while I really love it, the documentation is not great.
So my thought is to write a blog on what I know and report to Fusion360 folks on things that don't work.
